Black Flag

Black Flag was the first band which is considered as a Hardcore Punk. They also run a record label called SST which later inspired many bands to create their own labels. Black Flag are also very close to bands like Big Boys, The Dick, Minor Threat and others. SST Record itself has become the most influential indie labels in the 1980s.

Centered on the Black Flag Greg Ginn. He started the band in 1976 when it recruited Keith Morris is interested in surf culture. Morris wanted to be a drummer but can not play it. Having persuaded by Ginn, he would be a vocalist. They named the band Panic. In mid-1977 Panic adding personnel is bassist Gary McDaniel aka Chuck Dukowski.

In early 1978, the formation of the Black Flag is Keith Morris, Greg Ginn, Chuck Dukowski, and drummer Brian Migdol. They released the EP contains 4 songs. While the first release of SST Records, Nervous Breackdown, appeared in late 1978.

In 1979, Keith came out and formed the band with guitarist Greg Circle Jerks Hetson of the band the Red Cross. Keith Black Flag and the problem was never completed. For the benefit of his new band, Keith took the song "I Do not Care" is written with Ginn.

In 1981, Henry Rollins joined Black Flag. Since the first, Rollins is a fan of the band. He had exchanged letters with Chuck Dukowski Black Flag and later invited to the house of her parents when the band was on tour in the East Coast in December 1980. When Black Flag returned to the East Coast in early 1981, Rollins watched as many of their concerts.

Bad Brains

An era is always marked by the appearance of the icon is the reference. To Genre Hardcore punk, Bad Brains is one of them. Starting from jazz fusion band called Mind Power, Bad Brains was born. Bad Religion

Bad Religion is a punk band formed in 1979 in Southern California. The personnel who had educated enough to make the band became a phenomenon that can significantly impact the play punk songs with a beat peculiar punck fast yet melodic rock with lyrics that range from critical social issues, politics and religion. The structure of sentences in a varied and elaboratif lyric combined with a poetic style and vocabulary that even Americans themselves forced to open the dictionary, making the band quickly gained a unique and sympathizers who pretty much when they released their first album in 1981 in the Southern region California. The band consists of Greg Graffin, vocals, Jay Bentley, Bass / backing vocals, Jay Ziskrout, drums, and Brett Gurewitz, guitar / backing vocals, or better known as Mr.Brett. After the launch of the first EP with the label Epitaph Records Mr.Brett property which also doubles as the band manager, in 1982, the band had just finished junior high school launched a full album titled "How Could Hell Any Worse?". However, in the middle of this album workmanship, Ziskrout Jay resigned from the band and was replaced by Peter Finestone.

Greg Graffin, frontman of the band holds a Masters degree in geology from UCLA and earned his Ph.D. in zoology from Cornell University. Greg Graffin dissertation for Cornell University is a comprehensive study of science that focused on Darwin's theory is controversial because of problems associated with divinity and religion and how these theories affect the way a person thinks. The dissertation was published and dedicated to the fans of Bad Religion.

Adam & The Ants

Adam & The Ants is a band formed by Malcolm McLaren edakan post-punk in 1977. But quite sad if they see their best work was never released, but scattered in bootleg albums such as Red Scab. It's amazing that many of their songs were never released at the time.
